IQAir’s V5-Cell gas, chemical, and odor filter uses granulated activated carbon derived from bituminous coal, impregnated alumina, and potassium permanganate in a unique V-5 design for filtration of gases and chemicals from vehicle exhaust, paints, furniture and carpets, volatile organic compounds (VOCs) like formaldehyde, and carbon monoxide.

The PreMax Pre-Filter is the first stage in the HealthPro Series filtration process. Air is drawn in at the bottom of the system and into the Pre-Filter. This filter eliminates coarse and fine particles such as pollen, pet dander and mold spores. Complements the V5-Cell Gas and Odor Filter and the HyperHEPA Filter.
